I have a couple heatsink reviews for you today. First up, FrostyTech, who has one of the best testing methods for heatsinks, has reviewed the Spire 5F271B1L3. Also, OCIA has posted a review of the CoolerMaster Aero 7, which is the heatsink with that turbine type fan.

Xaser Silent Purepower 480W
WebMasterP
EnvyNews.com has posted a review of a new power supply from Thermaltake, the Xaser Silent Purepower 480W. What makes this PSU unique is that it has a SATA HDD power connector. It says a lot for SATA and for Thermaltake. I am glad to see they taking a step in the right direction.

PlanetSide Reviews

A couple reviews of the new Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), PlanetSide. There is a review over at SubZeroTech and one at Guru3D. I recommend reading both as they will give you two completely different perspectives on the game.

Athenatech A747SS
WebMasterP
A new PC Case review has been posted. This time around it is an Athenatech A747SS reviewed over at TheTechLounge.com. They have a couple issues with it but seem to like the majority of what the case has to offer.

Unlocking Amazing Brain Powers
WebMasterP
Slashdot.org has posted an article about scientists unlocking your hidden brain power. By using a electromagnetic stimulator, the scientists were able to make some people draw figures (dogs, cats, etc.) much better. The article linked to on Slashdot is kind of long, but worth it.

Maxtor Atlas 10K IV Ultra
WebMasterP
HWExtreme has posted a review of the Maxtor Atlas 10K IV 147GB Ultra 320 SCSI HDD. I would be lying if I told you I did not want one of these. Too bad SCSI is so expensive, still... Smile

Shuttle SB61G2
WebMasterP
A new review has been posted at HardOCP. This time around, it's a review of the small form factor Shuttle SB61G2. Apparently the system isn't too bad for overclocking either. It looks like Shuttle has a winner on their hands with this barebones computer.

Samsung 1710 and 1750 Laser Printers
WebMasterP
TweakNews.net has posted a review of both the Samsung ML-1710 and ML-1750 Digital Monochrome Laser Printers. I posted a review of the ML-1750 last month, but another perspective definitely cannot hurt, especially if you are the one fitting the bill on your next printer.

SkyHawk PSR4638 Chassis
WebMasterP
TwistedMods.com has posted a review of a SkyHawk PSR4638 Chassis. The PSR4638 has a pretty cool LCD on the front, not to mention a nice design and aluminum construction. Definitely worth a click if you are currently looking at the chassis market.

The PeltierBeer Mug
WebMasterP
The Tech Zone is the home of one of the coolest how-to's I have ever seen. The author will show you how to make a beer cooler with a peltier and some ingenuity. Pretty friggin' cool! I will probably never make one, but it is still damned cool.

Albatron KM18G Pro V2.0
WebMasterP
Albatron is definitely an 'up and comming' motherboard manufacturer. Well, PCStats.com has posted a review of a Micro ATX offering from Albatron, the Albatron KM18G Pro V2.0 nForce2 IGP. This is definitely worth looking at if you plan on building a small form factor PC with a quality motherboard.

Intel Pentium4 3.2 GHz
WebMasterP
HardwareExtreme has posted a preview of sorts concerning the Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz (800MHz FSB). There are some good picutres and little bit of information on the page.

Albatron GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
WebMasterP
A review of Albatron GeForce FX 5200 Ultra has been posted at 3DNewsNet.com.
Taking a look at the chart you can see that the NV34's 5200 Ultra has a core clock speed of 325MHz with a memory speed of 650MHz on a mature 0.15µ. The GeForce FX 5200 Ultra offers 64MB and 128MB configurations giving the manufacturers a wider range of options to offer to the consumers. The die contains only 45 million transistors and that is not a lot considering the NV30 which had a whopping 120 million tansistors.
Enjoy!

Jamo A 210PDD Speaker System
WebMasterP
DesignTechnica has taken a look at the Jamo A 210PDD Speaker System. I'll be honest with you here; I hate DesignTechnica's review layouts. However, the speakers are pretty funky looking. It's worth the click just to see the pictures. Smile

MSI 865PE Neo2-FIS2R i865PE
WebMasterP
PCStats.com has a pretty good review of the MSI 865PE Neo2-FIS2R i865PE motherboard. They even (try) to cover the mysterious 'CoreCell' technology MSI has implemented into their motherboards. Intel fan or not, you will probably find this review interesting.
No doubt by now you've noticed the aluminum Core Cell block just under the DIMM slots on the motherboard. What exactly is Core Cell, and what does this new chip do?

Core Cell is MSI's new catch phrase (read: marketing tool) and it has a number of features from decreasing overall system noise to power saving functions, prolonging the life of system components and even overclocking apparently.
Overall, the article is pretty well written. So, you won't have to struggle with bad English just to understand what the reviewer is trying to say.

Auravision EluminX Keyboard
WebMasterP
CyberCPU.net has posted a review of a way to waste $100. No, wait! Its a review of the Auravision EluminX Keyboard, which basically the same thing in my opinion. Smile

GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
WebMasterP
Beyond3D has posted a review of a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra video card. This is an NVIDIA reference card; that means it should give you a general idea of the performance of all FX 5200 cards (if you don't have an idea already).

ABIT NF7-M
WebMasterP
OCPrices.com has posted a review of the ABIT NF7-M. It is probably not what a lot of you are looking for (onboard video), but it might be worth a look anyway.

WebMasterP
Since we have run out of things to light up, why not try the fan grill, right? Right. ComputerSphere.net has reviewed a 80mm Lighted Acrylic LED Fan Grill. The fan grills come in 7 colors and will even get you the ladies (that's all true, except the last part).

ALBATRON PX845PEV-800
WebMasterP
An ALBATRON PX845PEV-800 has been given a good going over at TweakNews. The PX845PEV-800 is a limited edition anniversary motherboard (not to take away from the company, but most boards are limited edition Smile ).
