Danger Den MAZE3 Power Kit
Page 1 - Danger Den's Power Kit
I recently came across a kit that was put together by Danger Den, more specifically the MAZE3 Power Kit. Danger Den's MAZE3 Power Kit is an relatively expensive product packaged nicely for you the 'do it yourself' types to put together. One of the nice features of this particular setup is the use of ½" inner diameter hose, which greatly improves performance. The water block also come equipped with a Lucite top that lets you see what is going on "under the hood."

The Goods

The Danger Den kit includes:

Block Top
|

Block Bottom
|

Block Side
|
Your choice of AMD or Intel compatible MAZE3 water block, with ½" chrome fittings and a Lucite top (shown is the Intel stainless steel water block mounting system I received),

So Black
|

So... Radiator
|
a Black Ice Xtreme Radiator,

Hydor L30 Pump
|

So... Radiator
|
a Hydor L30 Pump (320 gallons per hour), a Papst 120mm Fan with 4 pin Molex plug

Tubing
|
7 feet of Danger Den ClearFlex 60 ½" inner diameter, 1/8" wall tubing
10 Plastic hose clamps, Arctic Silver 3 thermal compound, and a 4 oz. bottle of radiator treatment (Zerex or Water wetter). All this for about $200 is not bad; but it is certainly not a "bargain" in the purest sense of the word. Also available are video card cooling blocks for Radeon and GeForce based video cards.
Before we begin, be sure you have enough space to put this bad boy in your case. I have a mid-tower and it proved to be a tight fit. Also the kit does not provide anyway to supply power to the pump, so you will either have to buy an 18 dollar auto turn on pump relay switch kit, or you can retro fit your ATX power supply.
