Dumbass #21 - Submitted on 02-01-2002 by whypick1
Unfortunately, this was my own stupid doing :(

I was working on our family computer (which was the only one at the time) doing a hard drive transplant: moving a 6gb and a 650mb to a new 20gb (obviously this was a while ago). To make a long story short, I put the 6gb on the frame of the case and it fell on the 20gb when I hit the power button too hard. I had screwed the 20gb upside-down, and dumbluck meant that the 6gb survived since it had 5.25" brackets, and they made contact.

Thankfully, CompUSA is rather ignorant and my dad was able to get another one easily.
