Back in high school I was sitting at the lunch table listening to everyone talk about how cool Half-Life was. I said something about playing TFC and Mike (Slugo) said "What's your name?". I paused, thought for a second, and said "I don't know how to change it, I think it's 'Player'." They all started laughing at me, and I didn't know why. :(

I gave my guild leader in EQ my account information over PM on a PhP board and my account got hacked. What's worse is she never logged in my account and I never needed any help at all.
Back in the days of quake 2 a few friends and I were about to take part in a clan war. We were told the server address and that the password would be "hungry". One guy (good at q2 but stupid with computers) didn't know how to enter the password. After half an hour of trying to explain how to enter it in the game we had to resort to sending him a batch file to enable it automatically.
